Galas: South Wales Miners' Gala, 1955.
Album of photographs from the South Wales Area Gala. They contain the following
photographs; leaders of the South Wales miners at the front of the march; the leaders
addressing the marchers; the marchers walking through Cardiff, and their assembling at
Sophia Gardens. Several banners are displayed, the South Wales Area NUM banner, the Cwm
Llantwit Lodge, the Bedwas Lodge, the Seven Sisters lodge and the Dulais Valley Lodge.
There are also photographs of the events that took place, such as dancing, sports and
bands playing.
