Photographs of the emblem of South Wales Miners' Federation which incorporates the images of a leek, a safety lamp and winding gear. Photographs also include membership dues tokens used in the early years of SWMF from the following organisations: Aberdare Miners' Federation; Garw Miners' Federation; SWMF Brynkenllys Lodge; SWMF Western District of Glamorgan. Other medals and badges include: An International Class War Prisoners' Aid Medal; Pantyffynnon lamp check used in the 1950's; A Seven Sisters beer token used in the 1930's; NUM (South Wales Area) victory pin following the 1972 strike; childrens badge for Lady Windsor institute cinema worn in the 1950's; solidarity badge with Deep Duffryn, June 1979; Official picket identity card for the 1974 strike and SWMF membership card, 1941.
